Choosing a large bathtub

How large is large?

A standard tub is 60″. Large starts around 65″ and runs to 72″, with interior basins long enough for a full recline. We also have dedicated pages for 72-inch tubs and oversized and two-person models if you already know your size.

Water and weight

Large tubs hold 80 to 110 gallons. Two things to check before ordering: your water heater (the tank should hold at least two-thirds of the tub’s volume, or you’ll run cold halfway through filling) and your floor load. The numbers by tub size are in our capacity guide.
