New and Known Smart Toilet Brands to Consider in 2024

If you are on the market for a new smart toilet, these are the brands to look out for. Although many smart toilets all have similar features, its important to look at the quality of the toilet material itself before purchasing.

Badeloft

A relatively new contender to the market, Badeloft has made a name for itself by creating quality stone-resin bathtubs and sinks, and now they are hoping to break into the market with their smart toilet. Located in Oakland, Badeloft is a company that takes feedback seriously and offers a lengthy 10-year warranty on all their products

Toto

TOTO toilets are considered one of the best smart toilets on the market. They are designed in Japan and are usually equipped with cutting-edge technology such as bidet functionality, air deodorizers, contactless and mobile controls, and auto-flush systems. They also feature seat warmers and other comfort-related features. However, they are also perhaps the most expensive smart toilets on the market, so you get what you pay for. They are backed by a year-long warranty.

American Standard

A long-standing North American plumbing manufacturer based in New Jersey, American Standard makes an entire range of bathtubs, sinks, toilets, and plumbing fixtures for over 150 years. In terms of smart toilets, they offer around 5-6 different toilet options and 4-5 seat choices as well, for a reasonable price, although their toilets will not be as feature-rich as a toilet from TOTO.

VOVO

Founded in 2001 as an eco-friendly household appliance manufacturer. They specialize primarily in smart toilets and bidet seats, offering around 3 different models. They are based in Seoul, South Korea, and their products are available worldwide. Although their designs are limited, they come with various quality features, close to a TOTO toilet, making them a great alternative.

Horow

A Chinese manufacturer, Horror specializes in toilets, sinks, and other bathroom accessories. They offer around 4-5 different types of smart toilets at an average price point between $600-1,000. Their toilets feature a futuristic look alongside some useful ADA features as well.

Kohler

A longtime player in bathroom manufacturing, Kohler has a hand in toilet, sinks, bathtubs, showers, furniture, and cabinetry, giving you a one stop shop for everything home related. They offer 6 different models of smart toilets, and their designs are quite similar to American Standard, providing a toilet that is more simplistic aesthetically, but is still feature complete. The great advantage of Kohler is that the company is located all over the US, so you can preview their products in store before buying.

Duravit

A long time bathroom manufacturer founded in 1817 in Hornberg, Germany, Duravit offers three distinct models of smart toilet. They describe it as a “shower-toilet” and it houses a wide range of comfort features such as water temperature control, adjustable spray and control, heating, night light functions and better flushing controls. The best part is that it can all be controlled on your mobile device or the remote provided for you.

Woodbridge

Based in Norwalk, California, Woodbridge offers a wide range of smart toilets at an affordable price point. Currently, they sell 15 different models and variants all with modern features, quite close to TOTO. Their design is highly modern, providing a very sleek aesthetic alongside useful features such as eco-flush or smart flush control options.

Eplo

A large manufacturer of smart toilets, EPLO toilets are featured in a wide list of retailers from Amazon, Wayfair, and Walmart, to name a few, and they offer the same list of features that other smart toilets have at a similar price point between $600-1,000. Their design is more subdued and minimalist, which may not mesh with everyone’s aesthetic, but their functionality more than makes up for it.

OVE

OVE toilets specialises in manufacturing toilets and smart toilets. They offer 9-10 different models alongside a wide variety of bidet and smart seats as well. Their design is quite similar to a traditional toilet, making them a great fit for those who want a more basic design for their bathroom.

BioBidet

Located in Crystal Lake Illinois, Biobidet specializes in making bidets and bidet attachments. They offer one singular toilet variant with all the typical features such as a water control, air dryer, heat and temperature control, seat sensors, self-cleaning and auto-flush. Of course, all of these features can be controlled with a remote. And if the toilet doesn’t appeal to you, they offer a wide variety of bidet seats that offer a similar experience.

ARRISEA

Made in the USA, ARRISEA smart toilets surprise many homeowners due to their inexpensive price point and extensive feature list. This toilet features all the basic smart toilet features such as flush control, heating seat, bidet functionality, and contactless control, but it also has dual flush features and feet sensors.

There are of course more brands on the market today, but these are the most notable to watch out for. When shopping for a smart toilet, it’s important to get a feel for the toilet itself as the features are generally going to be the same. You want to look at the comfort and feel of the design itself before making a decision
